Variety?

Has anyone noticed an inconsistency between bottles? I found it to be pretty drastic at times. Usually it's just amazing even with a slight change in flavor, but once in a while it's a bit off the mark.

Recently I had one of those bottles. It seamed a bit more watery, had less pulp and didn't have that zing, I was used to.

Like a good wine, I know you get some variety, but I find it disappointing, especially at a tasting.

Score!!!

I just booked a room at the Hyatt in Indianapolis for $65/night.

After searching for the hotel on Orbitz for the Hayatt, I found their minimum price wass $145/night. Ouch.... Not to be deterred, I punched in the same details on priceline.com specifying the 4 Star deluxe option in the downtown area with a $65/night bid.

After waiting for about a minute for the computer bid to be registered, I was totally surprised to find the bid was acceptted!

In total the bid was a mere 45% of the list price!. Now all I need to do is find a room mate to split the cost. :-)

Anyone else showing up on Friday? Let's have dinner.

I'm going to the Indianapolis Dream Day on Nov.22nd

I am really happy to have found a benefactor and landed 2 tickets to the Indianapolis Dream Day at the Hayatt Regency on Saturday, Nov. 22nd. It's an all day event and from watching videos of past dream days, this should be a great event.

Anyone else attending? Perhaps we can meet up while there.

I've been Verved by my own brother!

Ok, I'm going down the list of potential personal sponsors and when I get to by brother I find out he is already selling Verve. After looking into it, it seems like a Red Bull clone. It's not really what I gravitate toward.

It's too bad he's already associated with them as I thought he and his family would be a great network. He's been in sales his whole life and me, this is my first real attempt to sell anything (except myself).

After a bunch of research, studying the Policy manual and emailing my uplines, it is crystal clear now that you can not use any MonaVie trademarked images, slogans or text to create your own marketing products. All have to be purchased on approved sites like Monavie, BlackDiamond University or R3Global.

Once you get to the rank of Black Diamond, you can ask for your custom made marketing materials to be approved, then you can use them.

It seems though that most people are just ignoring these conditions. With the worst offenders actually selling MonaVie Juice online either on ebay or their own websites.

I have heard that your distributor status, your whole business, can be instantly dissolved if you are caught. Is it worth it?

For now, I'll stick to materials that don't violate these principles.

In past MLM companies I've been with, they provide many templates of marketing materials like business cards, flyers, posters, stationary and the like. These can be printed freely and cheaply by the distributor. If you would like to make any alterations, there was a simple application and review process. This made the whole thing much more accessible and brought marketing costs way down.

After reviewing the prices on the above sites, and having spent time in the printing business myself, I find the prices rediculously high. I'd say they are around double what they should be. This means to me, the management of Monavie (and the high ranking distributors), want to make money from us while building their business. I find this also very distasteful. If I were running the business at the top, it would be a priority for me to reduce the distributors marketing costs as low as possible and make it easy to create new products. In fact, I'd allow distributors to sell their marketing materials right on the corporate websites.

I am such a huge supporter of the product though, that this still doesn't deter me from continuing to be a distributor.

Ousted by "The Team"

Has anyone heard of "The Team?" www.the-team.biz

I was told this was a MonaVie distribution group and I was invited to attend a meeting with them last night at local hotel.

10 minutes before the meeting was to start, I was informed that I couldn't attend as my upline was not a "Team" member.

This is a bit strange. I also heard that the "Team" is getting very special pricing discounts on MonaVie products. This seems very odd and unfair to the rest of us. If this is true, we are competing against members of the same company. I also heard that they are allowed to sell their products online and even visited a website of one of it's members that had MonaVie juice products for sale. Isn't this against the company policy?

The whole thing left a bad taste im my mouth. I would apprciate any comments on this subject and I hope I am wrong about it.
